Deleting a Customer Record
To DELETE A CUSTOMER RECORD, DELETE THE CUSTOMER as follows:


Type in the last name of the customer you wish to delete from your system and click on SEARCH CUSTOMERS. (You can also search by the Customer ID number.) 


Click on CUSTOMER (under the heading: EDIT). Clicking on RECURRING would also have gained you access to the debit information had we not already deleted it. To edit any account information, you must take this route.

To EDIT CUSTOMER INFORMATION (address, phone number, etc.) you must click on CUSTOMER. In this case, we are deleting the customer from the database.


Click on DELETE CUSTOMER.

(Remember, this is also where you make editing changes to the customer’s record – address changes, phone number changes, etc. – in which case you would edit and then click on SAVE CUSTOMER.)

You will see the following prompt.

Click YES and notice the final acknowledgement:

Note: The customer record can only be deleted if there is no debit record associated with it.
